Market Games™ is the brand name for Tap Trading's family of live-market gameplay formats. Each format takes the same core idea — gameplay driven by live cryptocurrency prices and structured box predictions — and applies it to a different shape. Here's what each one does.

The Market Games™ family at a glance

Market Games™ groups together every gameplay format Tap Trading offers, all of them sharing one property: outcomes are driven by live cryptocurrency market data. That's the throughline. What changes from format to format is the prediction shape — box duration, payout schedule, number of assets, and what the player is betting on.

Tap Markets — the canonical box format

Tap Markets is the format that defined the category. A live cryptocurrency chart with floating boxes — each box has a price range, a duration of 2/3/4 seconds, and a multiplier. You tap-in on a box to commit; you win the multiplier if the price stays inside the box for the full duration.

If you're new to Tap Trading, start here. The other formats make more sense once Tap Markets is familiar.

Turbo Markets — shorter box durations, faster sessions

Turbo Markets compresses the box durations even further than Tap Markets. The mechanic is identical — boxes with ranges, durations, and multipliers — but the durations are at the shortest end (typically under 2 seconds).

Turbo Markets is for players who want maximum session density: more tap-ins per minute, more decisions per session. The shorter window also makes box selection harder, so most experienced players treat Turbo as a different skill than standard Tap Markets.

Crypto Race — coins compete against each other

Crypto Race changes the question. Instead of "will the price stay inside this box?", the question becomes "which of these coins will perform best in the next short window?"

The player picks a winner from a small slate (typically 3-4 assets) and wins if their pick has the largest percentage change at the end of the window. This rewards relative-strength reading rather than box selection.

Crypto Race is the format most directly comparable to traditional prediction markets in structure.

1000x Crypto — extended-duration boxes, extreme multipliers

1000x Crypto uses the same box mechanic with much longer durations (typically several seconds to a minute) and far-away ranges, producing multipliers that can reach extreme levels.

This format is closer in spirit to volatility-betting than to standard box selection — you're betting that the market will make a substantial move into a specific range during a longer window. The payouts can be much higher on a winning tap-in, but variance is correspondingly larger, so the risk page applies with extra force.
