A — C
Bankroll
The total amount of money you've set aside to play with. Distinct from the per-round stake. Good bankroll discipline is the single biggest factor separating consistent players from impulsive ones.
BTC/USDT
Bitcoin priced in Tether (USDT, a US-dollar-pegged stablecoin). The most liquid crypto pair and the recommended starting market for new Tap Trading players.
Closing price
The live cryptocurrency price at the moment the 60-second round timer expires. Compared against the start price to determine the round outcome.
Cool-off period
A voluntary account lockout that prevents play for a set duration (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days). Honored without question and cannot be reversed before the chosen end. See responsible-play controls.
Consensus price
The price used by Tap Trading for round start and settlement, computed from a consensus of major cryptocurrency exchanges. Resistant to single-exchange lag or short-term wicks. Details on the price feeds page.
Crypto Race
The Tap Trading format where 3-4 cryptocurrencies compete head-to-head over a 60-second window. Pick the one that performs best. See the full Crypto Race page.

Demo mode
Free play mode using fictional balance. Identical mechanics, live market data, and round structure as real play — only the money isn't real. Recommended for new players before depositing.
Direction
The choice between Up and Down in a Tap Markets round. Your prediction of whether the closing price will be higher or lower than the start price.
ETH/USDT
Ethereum priced in Tether. Second-most-popular Tap Trading market after BTC/USDT.
Exchange feed
The live price data stream from a cryptocurrency exchange. Tap Trading uses feeds from multiple major exchanges to compute the consensus price.

Liquidity
The volume and depth of trading on a market. Higher liquidity means more reliable prices and lower susceptibility to manipulation. Tap Trading only offers markets with sufficient liquidity.
Market
A tradable cryptocurrency pair (BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, etc.) that can be selected for a round.
Market Games™
The brand name for Tap Trading's family of live-market gameplay formats — Tap Markets, Turbo Markets, Crypto Race, 1000x Crypto. See the full Market Games™ page.
Multiplier
The payout factor applied to your winning round. Standard multiplier is 1× for the first win in a streak; subsequent wins compound the multiplier up to a published cap.
One-tap trading
The UX pattern where a single tap commits a trading or prediction action. Used by Tap Trading and by some traditional broker apps. See the one-tap trading guide.
R — Z
Round
One complete unit of Tap Trading play. Includes market selection, prediction, the 60-second timer (or whatever the format specifies), and settlement.
Self-exclusion
A voluntary, permanent account closure for a chosen duration. Honored without question and cannot be reversed before the chosen end. The strongest form of responsible-play control.
Session
A continuous period of play. Sessions can include any number of rounds. Good practice is to set a session budget and time limit before starting.
Settlement
The automatic calculation of the round result at the moment the timer expires. The closing price is compared to the start price to determine win or loss.
SOL/USDT
Solana priced in Tether. Higher-volatility Tap Trading market.
Spread
The difference between bid and ask prices on a market. Traditional trading has spreads built into entries; Tap Trading does not — there's no spread on the round itself.
Stake
The amount you commit to a single round. The maximum you can lose on that round.
Start price
The live cryptocurrency price at the moment you enter a round. Locked instantly and used for settlement comparison.
Streak
A run of consecutive correct predictions. Each round in a streak applies a growing multiplier to the payout, up to a cap. A single wrong call resets the streak.
Tap Markets
The canonical 60-second up/down round format. The foundation of the Market Games™ family. See the full Tap Markets page.
Tap Trading™
The platform brand and category name for live-market 60-second prediction gameplay. The platform you're reading documentation for right now.
Telegram Mini App
The native Telegram version of Tap Trading. Runs inside the Telegram client, uses Telegram identity, includes group-leaderboard features. See the Telegram Mini App page.
Tick
A single price update from an exchange feed. Tap Trading uses sub-second tick data to compute consensus prices.
Timer
The countdown that determines round duration. Server-authoritative — cannot be manipulated from the client. 60 seconds in standard Tap Markets.
Turbo Markets
The Tap Trading format with shorter (15-30 second) round durations. See the full Turbo Markets page.
USDT
Tether — a US-dollar-pegged cryptocurrency stablecoin used as the quote currency for most Tap Trading markets.
XRP/USDT
XRP priced in Tether. Tap Trading market with idiosyncratic volatility profile.
1000x Crypto
The Tap Trading format with extended (3-5 minute) rounds and higher multiplier ceilings. Threshold-crossing bets rather than direction prediction. See the full 1000x Crypto page.
